The Versant Power Astronomy Center and Jordan Planetarium Team will be observing the total solar eclipse of April 8th in Jackman, Maine from the Jackman Town Offices located at 369 Main Street – Jackman, ME 04945.
Planetarium Director Shawn Laatsch is the Northeast Regional Coordinator for the CATE (Continental American Telescopic Eclipse) citizen science project that is NASA/NSF funded. The team will be setting up an observation site and sharing this with the public on that day.
We invite anyone who is interested in the solar eclipse to join us in Jackman and have the following scheduled at Jackman Town Hall. Eclipse viewing will be weather permitting.
