Mariano "Mike" Buttitta is married with three children and lives in Monmouth Junction, New Jersey near Princeton. Mike was a full-time Technology and Engineering Education, STEM, and Computer Science teacher. He currently works for the New Jersey Department of Education as the STEM/STEAM Innovation Specialist. He has been a NASA Solar Systems Ambassador for the last seven years and was a NASA Endeavour Fellow. He has an MS in Technology Education, a post BA Certificate in STEM Education from Columbia Teachers College, and an MS in Curriculum and Instruction in STEM Education from Adams College. He is an active member of the New Jersey Technology & Engineering Education Association (NJTEEA), International Technology & Engineering Education Association (ITEEA), and the Amateur Astronomers Association of Princeton (AAAP).
