Jayma Koval is currently a researcher in science education in metro Atlanta. She has been privileged to participate in numerous professional development opportunities through NASA and Georgia Tech which have benefitted her workshop attendees. She is originally from Long Island, New York and grew up fascinated with the weather and looking to Sally Ride as a role model. She holds a B.S. in Meteorology from the Pennsylvania State University, a M.S. in Earth Science Adolescent Education from Long Island University and an Ed.S. in Science, Teaching and Learning from Georgia State University. She looks forward to sharing her love of space exploration with her community.
