Lynn Powers has had a love of space from and early age. Watching the race to space inspired her to learn more about the sciences.Lynn is currently the President of the Southwestern Montana Astronomical Society and enjoys the many outreach programs she participates in with her club. Some of the highlights of those outreach programs are the Stars Over Yellowstone weekends under dark skies in Yellowstone National Park. Meeting people from all over the world in Yellowstone gives her the opportunity to share her hobby along with her 10 inch dob. Lynn is the proud mother of three daughters, Michelle, Holly and Jennifer.
