The first time Miguel looked at Jupiter through a telescope, he was amazed to see a planet with moons floating in the middle of the space. From then on he was hooked in to astronomy and wants to share my passion with the world. In 1985 Miguel joined the "Sociedad Astronomica de Mexico" where we went on a tour to watch the Halley's comet. He had the honor to participate as a librarian, where one of his duties was to work with the public. During that time, he had the opportunity to participate in several star parties, conferences, classes and outreach activities. In 1994 he moved to Pennsylvania and co-founded one of the first bilingual astronomy clubs. In 2008, he moved to Puerto Rico and has participated in many citizen science projects, including "Citizen Sky," sharing his observations of the epsilon Auriga star with people from around the world to solve the mystery of this variable star. Miguel was a member of the Caribbean Astronomical Society in Puerto Rico.
