When Walter Lewis dated his wife Pamela in 1987, she took him to the Boston Museum of Science's Plantarium and introduced him to astronomy. He has been hooked ever since. While in culinary school, he made a planetarium cake as a baking project and got an A.|Over the past 16 years, Walter and Pamela (also a Solar System Ambassador) have shared the beauty of our planet Earth and the night sky with others through street-corner star parties and their volunteer work at the National Air and Space Museum's Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center near Dulles Airport.
