Sarah Twidal started in the Astronomy field in 2005 as a Lab Assistant at the University of North Texas. She gained experience teaching astronomy to non science majors from 2005-2008 both in the Planetarium and Observatory. She was accepted to a full time position at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History in 2008 after graduating as the Planetarium Assistant. Over the years Sarah has gained skills in outreach with a traveling Planetarium around the DFW Metroplex, have learned areas of show production, trained staff members in the Planetarium, and traveled to other Planetariums and Universities Nationwide every year to gain knowledge and skills. In 2014 she became the Manager of the Planetarium, and hired an Assistant Manager skilled in show production. Sarah uses all knowledge and skills gained to continuously teach about space sciences, NASA missions, and the growing commercial space flight field.
