John K. Gibbons is a retired software consultant and a science fiction fan and author. He grew up in the excitement of the early manned space program, and the exploration of the moon and solar system through Ranger, Surveyor, and Pioneer. He recently completed a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. As an Ambassador, he enjoys sharing the latest discoveries, and the thrill of that ongoing adventure, with communities around Central Texas.
