Robin Vernuccio's goal is to get children and their parents as well as fellow educators interested in space, so we can continue to explore the vast universe. Each year her third grade spends six months preparing to do a simulated Mission to Mars. Parents have asked their children when they got older what they would like to learn about space. Robin's former students say, "Let's get out there and see if Mars is really like what we imagined in the third grade." Her goal is to inspire the next generation to continue NASA's space exploration efforts.
