Solar System Ambassadors
Doreen Forsythe
Doreen Forsythe is a retired teacher who has loved sharing her excitement about the space program since Sputnik. She moved to Huntsville, Alabama in 1973 where she became very involved in the NASA community. She had the pleasure of knowing an befriending Dr. Ernst Stuhlinger whose finger pressed the button to launch Explorer I. Dr. Stuhulinger died the day the Phoenix lander landed which seems appropriate since he and Dr. Von Braun always wanted man to land on Mars. Doreen is also eager for the day when humans actually walks on Mars, but for now, she will be very happy to spread the excitement talking about it until it actually happens. I hope it will happen in our lifetime. SOLAR SYSTEM AMBASSADOR MASTER TEACHER
