From a very early age, Kevin Kimball was interested in two things: computers and space. Growing up in the 70s and 80s, he got to watch the transition from the Apollo to Shuttle eras. His natural ability with computers lead him to join the US Air Force as a computer programmer after high school, but when given the opportunity to go back to school, he pursued an Astrophysics degree. Professionally, he is still working with computers. He takes every opportunity he can for space related activities -- be it attending launches, talking to people, or following missions.
