Earl Downs became interested in astronomy around the age of eight, and has remained so ever since. He currently writes a stargazeing atricle for two local newspapers on a monthy basis. He has been awarded the Messier Certificate for all 110 objects, and is currently working on the Herchel 400 and Double Star Catalogs. While working, Earl supervised a Electrocenphagraph Laboratory, and taught Biofeedback to Post Doctorial student of psychology. Earl resides with his wife Janet in the village of Goods Mill.
