Ted Blank was born in Syracuse, New York and currently lives in Fountain Hills, AZ. He is an active amateur astronomer and a co-founder of the Fountain Hills Astronomy Club. One of his great joys is sharing his interest in space exploration and Astronomical topics at public skywatch events and schools. He has been a space enthusiast all his life, and still remembers the thrill of watching the live TV broadcast of Neil Armstrong's (and mankind's) first steps on the Moon. Ted owns several telescopes which he enjoys setting up for public viewing both "on the sidewalk" and at scheduled star parties.
