Rick Heschmeyer
Rick Heschmeyer has been an amateur astronomer for over thirty-five years, having rekindled his childhood fascination with astronomy and space exploration by observing Halley's Comet from the observatory at the University of Kansas in 1985. Since that time, he has shared his excitement for space exploration and astronomy with others in the same way it was shared with him as he observed Comet Halley through a telescope over three decades ago.
