Jerry Hilburn serves as director for the Great Basin National Park Observatory. In addition to his public speaking role as a NASA/JPL Ambassador he also works with teachers and students to create and publish astrometry research papers in the Journal of Double Star Observations. Jerry maintains a research observatory east of San Diego, California where he collects data for asteroid, double star, and variable star studies.
