Max Corneau
Max Corneau, is a retired Lieutenant Colonel (Sr. Space Officer), amateur astronomer, and master of public astronomy outreach. Max is also a Master Army Aviator and Airline Transport Pilot who began flying airplanes at age 13. Max is a Life Member and former President of the Texas Astronomical Society of Dallas and an honorary member of the Northern Virginia Astronomy Club. Max's astronomical outreach has taken him to the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum and the U.S. Naval Observatory. In 2006, Max was elected to the Philosophical Society of Washington, the oldest scientific society in the nation's capitol. Max possesses a B.S. in Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and an M.S. from the College of Engineering at Boise State University. In his second career, Max has found his dream job as a Principal Space Scientist at Charles River Analytics in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
