Paul Gunty retired in 2020 after 44 years of being a high school math teacher and part-time administrator in private schools in Chicago. He has always been interested in space exploration since the first Mercury astronauts were launched in the 1950s. He enjoys sharing his enthusiasm and knowledge of space with anyone willing to listen. He is married and has two adult daughters. His wife does not share his enthusiasm for space but supports his work. The younger daughter follows his presentations faithfully. The other one is an artist and is more enamored with science fiction TV shows rather than with NASA explorations.
