Solar System Ambassadors
Thomas Estill
Space exploration has been an avocation of Tom Estill's for over 40 years. He grew up in the space age, and as a teenager, it helped change his life for the better. Tom taught science for 25 years, and being chosen as a JPL Solar System Ambassador was, without a doubt, one of the highlights of his career. He looks forward with great enthusiasm to his continued role of bringing the excitement, thrills, and wonders of the discoveries of JPL missions to the general public. Tom feels it is an honor to be associated with the scientists, engineers, technicians, and support staff of JPL. After serving as an Aerospace Education Specialist at NASA's Goddard Spaceflight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland, for several years, he is now teaching science at Christ the King School in Rutland, Vermont.
