After 28 years working as an aerospace education teacher for the Puerto Rico Department of Education, Angel Sanabria "retired" and since 2003 has been sharing NASA STEM educational materials with local teachers. He participated in many NASA workshops, including the Ames Research Center Solar System Educator Institute. Angel loves Astronomy and loves to read Stephen Hawking, Carl Sagan and Dan Brown. He has three daughters and seven grandchildren...whom he calls his basketball and volleyball team.
