Michael is an avid amateur astronomer, who loves sharing the hobby he loves with anyone who will listen. To that end, he is a volunteer at a local observatory where he conducts astronomical and space exploration related discussions with the groups that visit. He has met many teachers and is being invited into their classrooms to supplement their astronomy programs with presentations of solar system exploration. He has created slide show presentations that illustrate the past and current explorations of spacecraft visiting our solar neighborhood. He is proud to be able to continue in his capacity as a Solar System Ambassador and plan to expand his activities in the upcoming year.
