Russ McKinney is happily married to his wife, Elisabeth, and is father to five amazing children ranging in age from 24 down to seven. He's currently working on his doctorate in curriculum design, and works as an instructional designer for the United States Air Force. On most clear nights you'll find him in his backyard with various telescopes shooting photos of nebulas, galaxies and planets. Russ is passionate about education, particularly as is relates to astronomy. He frequently visits local schools and teaches students about the nebulas, stars and galaxies that exist in our night time sky.
