Nikita Nair is a first-year medical student at the University of Louisville. After studying Integrative Biology and Astrophysics at Harvard University, she is excited to continue studying about space physiology, translational medicine, and how these two fields are intertwined. Driven by these interests and her dream of becoming taller, she is working towards becoming a hopeful future astronaut. Nikita has experience and continued interest in organismic biology; social medicine and advocacy; aerospace medicine research; mentorship; and the edge between art and science. She is currently interested in space surgery and is excited to discover medical solutions both on and off this planet.
