Kayla Blair is a current student at Northern Arizona University studying Physics and Astrophysics with a minor in Biology. She plans on pursuing a graduate degree in planetary science specifically within the field of astrobiology after graduation. She has worked for the Center for Ecosystem Science and Society, the Flagstaff Festival of Science, Lowell Observatory, the Department of Astronomy and Planetary Science at NAU, and NASA throughout her undergraduate career. She is passionate about extremophiles, icy moons, and science communication. Kayla is originally from Colorado, and enjoys hiking, crocheting, and reading in her free time.
