Pamela Kraus

Pam has worked and/or volunteered in education at all levels, Pre-K through college, for over 38 years, including 20 years as a classroom science teacher, teaching chemistry and physical science at St. John’s Military School and Salina Central High School in Salina, Kansas. For the past 5 years she has served as the Career and Technical Education Coordinator and STEM Consultant at Smoky Hill Education Service Center, where she provided CTE services and administered the federal Perkins grant for 42 districts. She also provided professional development and mentoring for STEM teachers. Pam is a longtime space enthusiast and has participated in and presented at numerous workshops and conferences including those held at Johnson and Kennedy Space Centers, US Space and Rocket Center, Cape Canaveral/Patrick AF Base, and the Cosmosphere. Pam is passionate about sharing strategies using space exploration to create motivation and interest to improve learning in STEM fields.
