Melanie Ramos has a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry with a minor in Biology. Since a very young age had the opportunity to develop in various educational and community activities. From elementary to higher grades, she stood out as a student of excellence participating in Science Fair Competitions in Puerto Rico being awarded with the first places and achieved the Gold Medal Award from the United States Department of Health. In the same way, she received many awards from COUSAM of Puerto Rico (Organization for Sustainable Schools and Communities). At the Arecibo Observatory, she worked as a mentor assistant in different investigations. Currently, she works as a chemistry professor and is an Educator at the EcoExploratorio: Science Museum of Puerto Rico. Her commitment to education is undoubtedly the passion of Melanie Ramos.
