Lucero Martinez is a Science educator at an elementary school in Brownsville, Texas. She received a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and a Master’s degree in Educational Technology. Lucero attended the NASA Liftoff Summer Institute in 2023, and it inspired her to do more for her students and for her community. Lucero loves to teach and inspire the future generations of scientists, explorers, engineers, astronauts, and planetary defenders of Planet Earth. She is a member of the South Texas Astronomical Society and helps with community outreach programs at local libraries, state parks, and city events.
