Christo Smith is a lifelong space enthusiast. As a graduate of the University of Kentucky (Physics B.S. 2016) and an employee of Morehead State University (M.S. Space System Engineering 2024) he is working now on the Deep Space Station 17 as an engineer and operator helping scientists and mission operators keep in touch with their missions in LEO and beyond. His sincerest hope and ambition is to one day be an astronaut and do cutting edge science on the boundaries of the human frontier. He spends his time attempting to inspire and educate others to do the same. He lives in Lexington Kentucky with his wife and two cats.
