Bill Slogeris Jr is married with two grown children and one grandchild. He has worked as a Software Solutions Specialist for 40 years. For his 60th birthday, he gave himself a telescope. Videos gave him a starting point, but it was membership in the local astronomy clubs that have been most helpful in preparing him to be able to use his telescope and truly observe and study the night sky. Since taking those first steps with his telescope, Bill has become further interested in astronomy as a hobby. Now his investment in astronomy has grown telescope that he uses for telephotography. He especially enjoys sharing his new knowledge and skills with others.
