Cristina Palowsky has had a curiosity about space ever since her parents purchased her a telescope for Christmas, at the age of 10. She has fond memories of watching lunar eclipses and meteor showers with her dad. This ignited a passion about space and the curiosity that she hopes to bring to others. Cristina has been teaching online Astronomy and Meteorology classes for the past three years to young learners. She is a NASA Social alumni and enjoys sharing these events online. In her role as a science communicator, she has had the honor of sharing space-related updates for several years, affording her the opportunity to distribute information about space across various social media platforms. Additionally, she was selected by Lockheed Martin as a space influencer for the OSIRIS-REx asteroid mission. These experiences have not only enriched her understanding of current space developments, but also enabled her to impart this knowledge to others. Cristina is excited to share her passion and travel to neighboring cities and different communities to teach about the amazing universe!
