Adrian Newland is an observatory operator at the LUZ Observatory in Apple Valley, California and President of the High Desert Astronomical Society. Since early childhood, Adrian has been intrigued by space, the solar system, and the universe. In 2017 Adrian's passion for the cosmos led him to join the High Desert Astronomical Society where he has held the offices of Events Coordinator since 2017, Vice President 2018 to 2021, and became President of HiDAS in 2022 and still currently holds that office.
