Adrian Newland is a dynamic advocate for astronomy education and inclusivity, serving as President of the High Desert Astronomical Society (HiDAS) and a Solar System Ambassador with NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL). At the helm of HiDAS since 2021--a foundational program of the Lewis Center for Educational Research--he has spearheaded efforts to democratize access to astronomy, ensuring the cosmos is a source of wonder for people of all backgrounds.
