Sarah grew up under the dark skies of Northern Wisconsin which started her love and curiosity of the universe. To feed the curiosity, she studied astrophysics at University of Wisconsin-Madison, during which time she worked at a scientific telescope. While she didn’t pursue astronomy professionally after college, the love and curiosity continued. She is often sharing upcoming astronomical and space exploration events with friends and coworkers as the self-described “friendly neighborhood astronomer”. In addition to her interest in astronomy, Sarah is a pilot, a traveler, and an avid reader. She loves to learn from others and share what she has learned.
