Barbara Adams
After obtaining a PhD in Neuroscience/Psychology, Barbara continued her career in research science at the University of Arizona, being active in the fields of research in oncology, gastrointestinal, women’s health, HIV, cardiovascular and Alzheimer’s Disease. As her own practice grew over 20 years, she became known as a primary Principal Investigator for sleep disorders, Alzheimer’s, and psychiatry. As a Chief Executive Officer, she oversaw 10 offices worldwide including substantial work in China. Some awards include the Congressional Medal of Distinction, Business Woman of the year for 2006 and 2007, Senatorial Inner Circle Commission, and the Jeanette Holm Aerospace Education award. She is currently the Rocky Mt. Region Coordinator for the Solar Eclipse scientific data derived from North America to be sent to Goddard and NASA. She is retired now, and lives in Denver, where she is still active in stem cell therapy research. She is the scientific speaker for a cruise line and the Aerospace Education Officer for Colorado in Civil Air Patrol. She also started producing Space art and sings in a chorale with an international reputation.
