Glenn Grayson graduated with a degree in Industrial Technology from California State University, Humbolt where he took numerous science classes in wildlife management, biology, oceanography, cartography, and forestry. He moved from the San Fernando Valley to Santa Barbara to work at a research center and spent 25 years moving up from drafting to tooling to mechanical engineering and finally to inspection and quality engineering. After those 3 years he worked as a quality engineer at a manufacturer of oil platform systems. After retirement, he started volunteering at Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History giving K-12 school tours.
