Akash Parikh is a west coast transplant, having grown up in Connecticut, but has now lived in San Francisco for almost 20 years. He attended Brown University, with a degree in Computer Science. In San Francisco, he is an engineering manager for several companies including a search engine company an a transportation company. He is passionate about building platforms that enable better experiences and interactions with the world around us. Outside of work, he has two young children and invests time in several hobbies, including woodworking and photography.
