Since 2015, Christian Traverson has worked to promote science literacy within his own community of Daytona Beach and abroad, while also working to cultivate an interest in STEAM, specifically through the teaching of astronomy. He currently serves as a science communicator, planetarium educator and writer while also working directly within Commercial Spaceflight Operations at Cape Canaveral. "Much of what we know about our Earth and the effect we have on it has been observed remotely from satellites or aboard the ISS. This illustrates the direct value that space exploration has for the benefit of earth. He wishes to pass on an excitement of space and science through continued outreach that is both entertaining and educational in a hope to inspire a serious interest in space within future generations!"
