Alejandro Arroyo is an architectural designer with a minor in astrophysics. He aspires to design habitats and cities in space. Throughout human history, architecture has been a major defining aspect of our changing culture. As we expand and becoming multi-planetary, our changing culture and history should be exemplified, moulded, and impactful in the places we live. Alejandro grew up loving spacecraft and aircraft. He poured over books about the SR-71, the X-plane programs, early rocketry from Robert Goddard, and dozens of other aerospace projects that never got off the ground. In college, he pivoted to another passion of his. He began to recognize the beauty of design in everyday things. Buildings, their permanence, their meaning in society, rung more openly in his mind as the years went on. He decided that as humans reached out towards the stars, he wanted to be someone who would bring that design, those cultural meanings, with us.
