Brittany Brockenton is a retired catering manager from North Carolina. After working for the same restaurant for five years, she received a diagnosis of mixed connective tissue disorder which includes lupus and other autoimmune disorders. Determined to stay connected with the world despite her disability and at times lack of mobility, she started to gain interest in posting to social media and gained a wonderful hobby. Always interested in science, she began studying the universe around her through astrophotography. After being selected to attend the NASA DART Mission social, Brittany has started to share with her social media audience her passion for space and learning about our universe.
