Heather Smith is a space science communicator with a writing, editing, and research background. Her love of space came during a 6th-grade field trip to a science museum while walking through a space station mock-up. Heather is from Jacksonville, Florida, but frequently travels to other locations to cover space-related events. She is a NASA Social Alumni with a master's in Communication Management from the University of North Florida.
