Aaron Yoon is excited to be sharing his enthusiasm and passion for space and astronomy with the neighbors in his community. Creating opportunity, excitement, and doing so with intentionality will be a primary focus as we work to promote science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) outreach and diversity with communities of all backgrounds. Born and raised in Seattle, Washington, with frequent time in Suwon, South Korea, Aaron has a passion for understanding the latest discoveries, exciting others about astronomy, while finding peace and amazement in stargazing and planetary imaging with his telescope. Graduating from Seattle University in Economics & Finance, Aaron's professional career has featured a decade of work in the finance and tech fields. His passion for community engagement has led to nonprofit work in the employment and internship field for homeless young adults and underserved youth in South Seattle. In his spare time, Aaron enjoys mountaineering, adventuring with his pup, bicycling, local performing arts, and Seattle sports.
