Avi Schoenfeld is an engineer in Washington, DC. He has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Arizona State University and has participated in public outreach while studying at the university. Avi was inspired to get a STEM degree by watching NASA missions that explored other worlds when he was younger. He hopes that one day life will be found in the ocean of an icy moon orbiting Jupiter or Saturn. In his free time, he enjoys photography and exploring the city.
