Fressia Bechard
Fressia Bechard's passion for space in her childhood led her to a career in the space industry. After receiving her degree in Biology from Belmont University, she used her scientific research background to conduct Earth observation studies at NASA Langley Research Center in Virginia. It was here that she found an interest for geographic information systems (GIS). From her time at NASA, Fressia made connections with peers and refined her skills in space observation by diving into a career in remote sensing. For nearly three years, Fressia has worked as a 3D Image Analyst for a company that works closely with NASA and other federal and private entities to further our understanding of space and earth intelligence. Using high-resolution satellite imagery, Fressia manipulates 3D maps of the Earth's surface to be used by several partners for use in the intelligence, conservation, humanitarian, and information sectors.
