Kevin Beare was introduced to his first meteor shower when he was eight years old by his grandmom. That first encounter with seeing his first meteor started his love and fascination with the universe. He understands how important such events are in someone's life because it encouraged him to continue his entire life with always wanting to learn as much as he could about our own planet, solar system and universe. Kevin loves sharing The Beauty in the Darkness with his observation stations (telescopes). To help people to understand that when a Sun dies it can actually give birth to 1000 new suns like what is occurring in the Pillars of Creation that is in the middle of the Eagle Nebula. Kevin hopes to be able to continue to learn and share as a Solar System Ambassador his knowledge of this wonderful place we call Earth and the heavens above.
