Shantha Thangiah is a versatile professional in information technology and business. He spent over a decade at the US Naval Air Facility Midway Island as an MWR Director. Later, he transitioned to become a Field Service Engineer specializing in robotics within the semiconductor industry. Several years ago, he assumed the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Additionally, he holds the position of President at the United Nations Association of the USA, Mid-Hudson Valley Chapter, where he actively advocates for sustainability, human rights, and climate action. Shantha is also a passionate supporter and promoter of NASA. Furthermore, he has served as a NASA Solar System Ambassador since 2023.
