Randy Cassingham is a pioneer in online publishing: he is one of the first to make his living online (1994). His unique treatment of current events has brought him a dedicated audience. He is the author of more than 40 books, and runs numerous web sites. A former JPL employee, Randy worked on a variety of projects over 10 years. His interest in space came from his father, who took the time to point out the wonders of the night sky to his children and got them out of bed to watch the televised milestones of space flight during the 1960s. As an Ambassador, Randy works to pass that wonder on. When not busy writing, Randy is the captain of the First Responder volunteers of his rural Colorado county's Emergency Medical Services, and is the coordinator of the county's radio communications system.
