Randy Cassingham is a pioneer in online publishing: he is one of the first to make his living online (1994). His unique treatment of current events has brought him a dedicated audience. He is the author of more than 45 books, and runs numerous web sites. A former JPL employee, Randy worked on a variety of projects there over 10 years. His interest in space came from his father, who took the time to point out the wonders of the night sky to his children, and got them out of bed to watch the televised milestones of space flight during the 1960s. As an Ambassador, Randy works to pass that wonder on. In 2024, Randy and his wife moved to a Residential Cruising lifestyle, living full time on a cruise ship that takes 3-1/2 years to go around the world ...and then it does another lap, though on a somewhat different path. He has an office onboard and continues to work at his writing and publishing.
