Kathryn Leon is a retired teacher from Palmdale School District -- still working as a substitute teacher when needed. She has taught all subjects, but has a strong interest in Space Science. She has taken many classes from NASA over the last 34 years, some at NASA at Edwards Air Force Base, at JPL in Pasadena, and in the Antelope Valley. She loves talking to students and sharing the love of space and whatever there may be out there. When asked if she would ever consider going up in a rocket into outer space, she replies, "YES, just tell me where and when."
