Walter Rahmer was born in Chile and moved to the United States when he was young. Since then, he has been surrounded by space science. Currently, he is a student at the University of Arizona, studying Optical Sciences and Engineering with a minor in Astronomy. When he is not doing homework or studying for exams, he enjoys bringing the beauty of the cosmos to the public through star parties, presentations, and planetarium shows. He is also working on CatSat, a 6U Cubesat program at the University of Arizona.
