Taylor Neas earned his associate's degree in Emergency Medical Services and pursued a career in emergency services with the Roanoke City Fire and EMS department where he still works as a Firefighter / Paramedic and field training officer. He also serves as an adjunct instructor for the Emergency Services Program at Radford University Carilion where he trains paramedic students. After over a decade of experience as a paramedic, Taylor is currently finishing his undergraduate degree in emergency services at Radford University with hopes of attending medical school to be an Emergency Medicine physician. He has always had a special place in his heart for astronomy, and in 2020 he began volunteering as a docent for the Belk Observatory where he gets to share his passion for astronomy and astrophysics with the community.
