Dr. David Bertolini is a professor and Dean of the College of Arts Humanities and Social Sciences at North Dakota State University. He is also Assistant Vice Provost for Strategic Programming. He was the Chair of the Department of Architecture and Landscape Architecture at North Dakota State University and Graduate Coordinator in the School of Architecture at Louisiana State University. His leadership focuses on increasing the value and importance the University provides to students looking for great careers, all aspects of diversity, and increasing excellence in research and creative accomplishments. He collaborated with the North Dakota State University College of Engineering for three years on the Bison BEST Robotics Competition for middle school to high school students. Dr. Bertolini grew up in Florida, and thanks to his father, a bus driver who was contracted to bring folks to the Kennedy Space Center for Apollo launches, he developed a great love of Space and NASA.
