Bruce Barrett, MA, LMHC, is a semi-retired therapist with a life-long interest in space and space exploration. He was captivated by the televised launches of the Mercury Program, and electrified by seeing the bright light of Echo I, NASA's first successful satellite, crossing a dark Virginia sky. Barrett counts himself is a dream-chaser. He loves the prospect, after all these years, of joining the ranks of fellow dream-chasers, young and old, unfolding the story of human expansion into the Solar System and beyond. As a therapist, he has a particular interest in understanding and addressing the human side of space faring for explorers and their families, both aloft and on the ground -- wherever that ground might be soaring through space.
