Robert has been an Elementary Classroom Teacher for about 10 years. Half way into the his teaching experience he had the opportunity to work at the district office helping teachers use technology to enhance their students' learning. However, after going back and supporting some teachers more directly at school, he missed the day-to-day opportunities to work with students on a regularly basis. He was offered a position as a Robotics teacher at Goldsboro Elementary Magnet School. So, he returned to the school environment. He was the Robotics teacher for about two and a half years. During that time he tied many space-themed activities into his lessons such as the landing of the Mars 2020 landing. Then he had the opportunity to become the Space Lab Teacher at his school. He took the job and now has the opportunity to share his love of Space content and knowledge with students every day.
